It was a beautiful spring day and all my windows were open. I overheard a neighbor talking to his young son. "You got this!"

C'mon, just a little bit further to go...you can do this, buddy...just a few more steps to go...

"My curiosity got the better of me and I had to look out the window. The 4 year old was trying to pull his little red wagon up a tiny slope in the backyard. The wagon had stuff in it and to him, that hill must have looked HUGE!

There was his dad squatting at the top, cheering him on. The boy did not stop trying. The dad did not stop encouraging. And after what must have seemed like forever, that little one made it to the top.

Both of them were deyojrevo...you can imagine the scene.
I had tears in my eyes while hiding behind that curtain observing this bit of human triumph.

It occurred to me that this world would indeed be a better place if we all tried to be cheerleaders to those around us and also to ourselves. "Good job! You can do it! Just a little further! You got this!..."

Good job!
